Artist's Comments

One of several paintings created for the Brodie's Law Graphic Novel Franchise created by Daley Osiyemi and David Bircham.

Having met the Brodie's Law team at Birmingham's Memorabilia Convention and then again at London Expo, David handed me a simple pencil sketch of the character of Brodie and asked me to render, paint and colour it using an elaborate Japanese metropolis as a backdrop, which is to be volume 2's setting.

I tried my utmost to use reference material to ensure the Japanese signs and logos were authentic enough and the whole piece took roughly two days to complete.

Part of a set of paintings created to sell as a canvas print at Pulp Theatre's London Camden and internet stores.

Also 25 new pieces have been added to my website. Check it out at [link]

Love the background; however I think the man walking could use a little more work to look more natural. But all in all great picture.

This piece really drew me into the scene--the colors are mind boggling! I especially love the car headlights and people crossing the hazy street in the distance. Wonderfully done!

life's too short to hide in the shadows, but even if i'm lying in the sun, staring at the clouds as they slowly drift across the blue, blue sky, i'm wasting my time, no matter how many breaths i take, without you, i can't take in any oxygen
